Catrin Harris

With nearly ten years of experience in research, mainly in higher education, Catrin is a qualitative researcher with a strong track record of delivering insightful, evidence-based work, which has mainly explored organisational culture, professional identities, and the lived experiences of technicians working in universities. She has also carried out research in schools and with museums. Her work is grounded in a commitment to rigorous methodology, clear communication, and a deep understanding of the people and contexts involved.

With expertise in in-depth interviews, focus groups, ethnographic methods, and survey design, Catrin has led and contributed to numerous research projects that have informed institutional strategies, policies and practices. She was the lead qualitative researcher for the TALENT Commission report, a landmark publication shaping the future of the UK’s technical workforce in higher education and research. She is regularly invited to speak about her work at conferences and events across the UK and Europe.

She holds MAs from the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University.

Juliana Rinaldi-Semione

Juliana is an interdisciplinary researcher specialising in sustainable development and public policy, with particular focus on social justice and space law and policy. With a background in applied social science and extensive cross-sector experience, she brings a collaborative, impact-oriented approach to research, policy engagement, and knowledge exchange.

Over the past decade, Juliana has worked with a range of public and third-sector organisations in both the UK and the US. Her work has influenced national policy discussions, institutional practices, and ethical research standards, and she is regularly invited to speak at public sector conferences and advisory meetings. Juliana enjoys using creative and participatory methods to bring out nuance and depth in academic inquiry, ensuring her research remains both rigorous and relevant to real-world challenges.

Juliana holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham, as well as an MA and AKC from King’s College London.
